Freestyle

Freestyle skiing is a alpine ski discipline considered as an extreme sport.
Freestyle skiing made its debut in the 60's with the other ski disciplines such as moguls, half-pipe or acrobatic skiing.

Freestyle skiing takes place in special zones called snowparks or off piste known as "backcountry". It consists of a combination of ski techniques and aerials off snow covered wooden or metal structures.

Freestyle skiers are known as freestylers or riders.
